Here is my friend's carpc install.

That's right,it's iMon VFD.It's control volume,also controller could simulate as mouse.

so i'm seriously thinking about getting that imon vfd. how do you like it now that you have had some 'road time' with it?

also, could you take some measurements of the screen itself? i want to see if i can shoehorn a slim/slot loading dvd drive next to it.

ok...another question. i've been doing a lot of research and think this is the way to go for me (if it will fit) but according to this site:

it says it's powered from teh mainboard connector. how did you end up powering this device?

Its fine to use it in car except remote control is a little too big...
Actually,my friend install a slime dvd below the VFD now,its fit in 1 din just fine.
This device could power by usb.
