You seem to have lost all my formatting lines from the skin files, which will knock out some of iDrive config's abilities.
Oh thats the problem. It happend the first time I used the config tool. I dissabled "weather" and "phone" in the config screen and when I tried to put them back on, they didn't work anymore. I made no big deal out of it since I wasn't planning on using them anyway. But this happend before I made changes on any of the skins.
@chuyler1
No the buttons have no function. They only illuminate. Maybe in the future I do something with the volume knob but for now I'm just planning to put an Ibus controller in there to make the knobs on my steering wheel function.

That'll be it then.
RR skin editor won't recognise any of my unique formatting and by the look of things just deletes it.
I'll see if I can combine my .skin files with your graphics and skin changes.

OK, I hope you can get it to work. How did you make the skin? Plain text? Or do you use another program instead of roadrunner skin editor?

Wow, that's a nice installation. It would be cool if you could get those buttons working for a stock feel.

yeah man, those buttons have gotta work, either phidgets or girder or even an x-key setup, can't be too hard... other options are a keyboard matrix board or aeven a joystick hack can provide the input....
when those buttons work, that'll make it real nice....

Thanks vinzer. I like yours too. I still don't unerstand how you managed to get the cd drive under the screen in your first install. When I saw it the first time, this was wat I wanted to do also but there was just not enough space.
The plugin is called: SiSoies Visualisation Library. I think Enforcer is gonna try to get it integrated better in one of the next releases of iDrive because I just had it sitting behind the skin.

For the volume to work it should be possible to take apart a griffin Powermate and integrate this in the bezel. I've seen this done before on these forums by someone from canada with an X5. I'm planning to get an iBus adapter to make the buttons on the steeering wheel work. Then the buttons on the bezel aren't that important anymore. It would be kind of cool if I could make them work however.
i'm using an ipac2 keyboard emulator and hotkeys to interface my buttons into my computer. you should give that a shot, very high quality piece of hardware

I have one more question to you:
How did you hide the frame around Spectrum Analyzer plugin. I am attaching a picture of what I did, and it works but still can not find how to hide the frame and keep indicators only and how to make a button for switching between different VISU in this plugin.
Thak you in advance for your answer.

@bimmer, did you resize the analyser?
Actually counting the bars you didn't. You've kust got the extremeties covered.
I wonder if there is a way to resize the plugin.?
@vinzer, what's that big green blob next to the phone?
