removal of the radio and audio straight from the PC should give you one less thing to worry about in getting interference and for something to break not that it would, but it's just easier running everything directly off the PC.
btw.... raving sucks =P sorry, had to toss that in there =P just a quick off topic comment hehe

Hey!!!!
it doesnt suck, you just see alotta sucky people...
ONE THING IVE BEEN TRYING TO TELL EVERYBODY!!!!
i dont have a motherboard that i like yet so NO way i can get rid of the radio right now...
plus, the only way i would put a direct audio in would be if i have direct audio volume control!!! and plus, i would have to run an amp, which im already pretty low on money so i cant aquire an amp right now, so no direct till alot later on

I think it's easier with a hu, as long as you got somewhere to put it. If computer is down or you just don't wanna boot up, you still got tunes. And what if the amp breaks, not that it would .

*sigh* i guess again it goes to each their own. I personally like the idea of removing the radio all together, but ease of use, it all depends.
For the volume control you can definitely pick up the Griffin PowerMate USB knob that you can set to do MULTIPLE different activities. Just program it to control the master volume...
*Edit*
Oh, btw, my friend has a cheap 2ch amp for sale for $100 shipped. it's a kicker kx200.2 if you want somethin for your speakers now... it's a good amp for a cheap price. And a quick followup, the reason why i said i think raving is dumb is because every single asian person i know knows how to rave. It's so pointless and not all that difficult... i prefer breakin instead. Anything from power to style.

im gonna get fatter...
ive got alot o amps laying around...but the cars kinda small so i got no place to place these things...
Thanks for the idea, and the device... i might consider it, when i get room for another amp, cuz my cousin gave me a 4 channel amp that i might put into my car. but then the problem is im running off of 8 guage wire right now, and im completly..........OUT OF CASH!>_<

You're going to need to fiberglass that screen in somehow, putty won't hold all that well int he long run through past jobs I've done and as for the buttons I say you put them right below the screen but it's all good. Oh... and that nasty looking deck must go, get an amp for all of your speakers and throw your steering wheel cover out while you're at it. You take pointless pictures too by the way lol.
And for questions.... Where the hell are you planning to put the plexiglass(?) housing for your computer? (I don't think you mentioned it in the post and if you did I just suck at reading then).
All Asian's are computer geeks through stereotypical nature. I mean I have 3 desktops and a laptop in my room with a 270 degree desk all filled with random computer crap. Unused speakers in my closet coming out the *** and lcd screens that I haven't used in ages. lol. Just face it. We're nerds.

Raving isn't all that difficult it's just very very pointless and I'm not going to bother breakdancing or anything of the sort anytime soon after ******* up my back from gymnastics heh.
About the amps though, there are quite a few simple solutions to carrying out what you need to do. The best idea from me if you're VERY limited on space is put it in your dash. If you disassemble your entire dash region you'll find many many empty places. Another place if you're driving a coupe is the wall panels to the sides of your rear seat, they have some empty room normally. On the back of your back seat or you can mount it in your trunk just as easily.

How did you remove the old radio?
Hi, I am interested to know how you removed the factory radio? I have the same car and want to remove the old radio. How do I remove the trim to get at the radio?
