I've relocated heater controls in a '64 fairlane I used to own,I just went to a bicycle shop and got a 10 speed shifter cable, and crimped the original end of the cable to it.

No one has claimed my cable yet. I'm not going to use it. I could finish it so it's only a few inches longer than stock and send it to you.

Try and tell me exactly how long it needs to be. Measure from the very ends of the cable.

I guess I can figure it out from that. It'll be a few days before I can send it out.
PM me your address.

After measuring some things, a 22" cable would be adding 4 3/4" to the stock length. Does that sound right?
If not, measure the total length including everything.

Well i get everything done for the show except the cable to change the temp. here are some shots of the relocations. I plan to make the top of the center console match the bezel around the shifter. Sorry about the bad picture, just didn't want to turn out today.
At the show on Sunday in my class there was only one other car. It was a 2002 yellow Trans Am collectors edition. It was perfect and only had 5000 miles on it (poor car) needless to say i took second, but it was fun to be around all the people and get the "you have a computer in your car!?!" lol.
