I cleaned up some of the wiring this weekend, re-did some grounds, and re-routed what I could.
This will be my next purchase for my car computer system:
It is the
Phoenix SOHO PCI Conference Card. The only problem is that I have one PCI slot, and it is being used, but there is a solution! There is a
thread where forum member
Salmizar figured out how to power the PCI card externally, and was able to achieve awesome echo-canceling results for car phone conferencing. Just needs 5V that you can get from the 5V rail on your power supply, or you can hack up a USB cable to get the power instead. They even tell how to make an external enclosure for it!! It is basically used as a pass-through for sound, so that the card can execute hardware echo cancellation.
