Garmin MobilePC and skinbedder

hi folks, don't kow if someone still uses skinbedder but I'm trying to embed garmin mobilepc in order to get it working better in centrafuse
I tried to understand how sb works but I've been unable to launch and enbed even notepad.exe
could someone give me some basic hints? I really tried a lot and searched the forums
I even tried with old releases (2.5), years ago I was able to get them working but.. I don't know, it won't work now.. maybe I'm getting old? don't know :P
I don't need buttons or actions, only one panel with one wintow to embed and keep embedded even when I resize the main (skinbedder) window. Stop. nothing more
please someone help

Using SB v3p2:
1.
edit skinbedder.ini to have this line
DefaultProgram=Notepad

2.
make a folder called "Notepad" in the same folder as sb

3.
create file "Notepad.ini" and put these lines in it:

[MainForm]
;This is the Window Title (if a front-end embeds SKINbedder, this is the title it will need)
Caption=NotepadEmbedded

;This is the initail position of the form.

;This is the initial "usable" Width & Height of the form.

4.
make folder called "NotepadWindow" in the folder "Notepad"
ie: skinbedder -> Notepad -> NotepadWindow

5.
make file "NotepadWindow.ini" in NotepadWindow folder and put in following lines:

run skinbedder... should work.

thanks very muck, can you clarify the use of the nudge values please? also, what's the difference between WindowClass=Notepad and WindowTitle= ?

A better name for these values would be "Crop"... Basically if you set NudgeUP=50, the top 50 pixels would be cut off the window contents. Have a play with it and you'll see.

If you use a window information tool like the one for AutoIT you will see the WindowClass for notepad is actually "Notepad". The window title when you first open notepad is normally "Untitled - Notepad". By using window class to embed the original window you can open different file names and notepad would still embed properly.
