Oleel, maybe you should have a sticky explaining the solutions to people who have problems with the nag window not being clicked.

Just helping out:
1. Make sure you don't have any other applications running that have the same Window name. ie. vbNullString
2. Use reshacker to rename the nag window. Give it a weird name like "fookin a" or something.

iGSkinner finally works for me! Now to do some tweaking of the button positions. I agree it'd be great to be able to specify a key sequence or other command strings in the ini for each button.

The 3.5 version is better a placing the buttons correctly (although zoom "-" is always messed up), but the iG window is about 50 pixles too high now. When I change CF to full screen view (double clicking the top bar) it works good, but when I change back to normal view the iG windows still does not fit in the CF square correctly.

I just tried version 3.5 on my desktop (P4 2.66 with 1g RAM) and CPU usage went up to 100% and stayed there! Can a mini itx 1G board handle this? I had to stop using Navivoice for the same reason because iGudance was having too much delay for lack of resources. Any solutions to this? I really like these apps and want to use them.

Edit: This is wierd. I tried it again and this time CPU usage was normal! What is going on?

I noticed that you have to nudge it in the .ini after its embeded to get it to fit... which doesnt work if you use more than one view... it seems to be resizing in a way that causes the nudging to increase as the window size increases

The window and nudge setting were different in 3.5 than in 3.0 (the nudge was all 0, but the top one is now "-0" in 3.5... the window setting are totally different). Should I just go back to the setting that were in 3.0 (and seemed to work)? Could someone post "optimum" setting for use with CF?

Ok guys, here's my settings for CF:

[NUDGE]
TOP=-48
LEFT=-4
RIGHT=1
HEIGHT=63

[NUDGE_WINDOW]
WIDTH=0
HEIGHT=0
TOP=0
LEFT=0

MENU_BTN=FALSE

ENTER_BTN=TRUE
ENTER_BTN_IMG_NORM=enter.bmp
ENTER_BTN_IMG_OVER=enter.bmp
ENTER_BTN_IMG_DOWN=enter.bmp
ENTER_BTN_LEFT=0
ENTER_BTN_TOP=13

ZOOM_IN_BTN=TRUE
ZOOM_IN_BTN_IMG_NORM=zoom_in copy.bmp
ZOOM_IN_BTN_IMG_OVER=zoom_in copy.bmp
ZOOM_IN_BTN_IMG_DOWN=zoom_in copy.bmp
ZOOM_IN_BTN_LEFT=0
ZOOM_IN_BTN_TOP=195

ZOOM_OUT_BTN=TRUE
ZOOM_OUT_BTN_IMG_NORM=zoom_out copy.bmp
ZOOM_OUT_BTN_IMG_OVER=zoom_out copy.bmp
ZOOM_OUT_BTN_IMG_DOWN=zoom_out copy_over.bmp
ZOOM_OUT_BTN_LEFT=37
ZOOM_OUT_BTN_TOP=246

THE_MENU_BTN=TRUE
THE_MENU_BTN_IMG_NORM=menu_2 copy.bmp
THE_MENU_BTN_IMG_OVER=menu_2 copy.bmp
THE_MENU_BTN_IMG_DOWN=menu_2 copy_over.bmp
THE_MENU_BTN_LEFT=0
THE_MENU_BTN_TOP=86

Everything is on the left edge, the Zoom +/- are right on top of eachother and cover the iG [Menu] & [Mute] buttons, the Enter button is just below the Menu button which is just below the iG next-turn-arrow when in Nav mode.

When you go full screen (double click the CF top bar), the Zoom - button moves right and the enter button moves down (notice the strange top/left settings for those 2 in the ini file).

Did you look if the names are correct in the INI file? Try running it without the frontend.

If I exit Centrafuse, I can see the menu open on the desktop, which then closes as iGuidance closes. Did I miss a setting?

Running at 800x600.

Sounds like you have CF set to be on-top of everything.

I'll look into the - bug. No clue what you're talking about the 50px too high
Nudging of what? The buttons? The iG window?

sounds like it didn't launch iG sucessfully and got stuck in the infinite loop looking for the nag window.

Don't go back to old settings. I rewrote that part and threw out the old code.

So would you rather have it not move??

I fixed the 2/3 snapping problem. Seems to work okay except the old menu and mute buttons are not hidden.

The nag screen goes bye bye fast!

Well, you have to reshack your iG to remove em. Unless you want to cover them up with some buttons

I am about to totally give up on 2.1.1. I tried it with 2.1.1, and everything seems fine, EXCEPT, the map window isn't positioned correctly. It is occupying the lower right corner of the IGSkinner screen, so all that is seen of the map screen is the Left upper most part.

Here is a screen shot. It is wierd, the IGSkinner part of the screen isn't captured, only the map is. Notice how the bottom icons are cut off, and there is no start visible. WIERD.

That is the problem I had too... Using IG 2.0.

I simply uninstalled/reinstalled IG and deleted all of the old igskinner files and was able to get it working.

i was able to use resource hacker to get rid of the mute button and the menu button that comes with iguidance. But the problem is i cant get rid of the text "Menu" where the menu button used to be. Does anyone know where that is so i can remove it.

it seems as though to me (i am a resource hacker newb) that the blue box for the menu button was just a box, while the text "menu" is located somewhere else. I looked everywhere for it but i cant findit though
