very nice if it wasnt 5AM I'd make a skin
do you think OSK is possible? it def doesnt load randomly just would have to make it the same as the skin file so that we can resize it to fall where it does with each resolution/frontend.

Bugs
The ZOOM- button doesnt snap to its position if you resize the window...
It still won't stretch to the height of the window, no matter what values I use for nudging or resizing... -75 is the correct value for the top, but the bottom will not move down any further, I can move it up, but not down...
You really butchered my skin there... :-)
Something is odd with the values to place the buttons... if i say menu TOP = 100, it goes to 100 from the top, but then if I resize the window, it doesnt stay 100 from the top, it stays where it was relative to the bottom of the window instead...
I messed with it and lined it up the way I had it in the file i sent you...
like this... (cept without the 3d button, since you didnt include that)
You should let the Skin.ini choose the actual command that is being sent...
like this...
[BUTTON_1]
SHOW = TRUE
LABEL = Menu
SENDKEY = m
IMAGE_NORM = menu_norm.bmp
IMAGE_OVER = menu_over.bmp
IMAGE_DOWN = menu_down.bmp
LEFT = 0
TOP = 165
[BUTTON_2]
SHOW = TRUE
LABEL = Zoom In
SENDKEY = {UP}
IMAGE_NORM = zoomin_norm.bmp
IMAGE_OVER = zoomin_over.bmp
IMAGE_DOWN = zoomin_down.bmp
LEFT = 0
TOP = 200
This would add the flexability of adding and removing buttons and change their function... truly skinnable...

Maybe make another bar on top of the window to make its size smaller? I can't really do anything about the "bug" because windows won't let me resize it any further

Could you post screenshots of the "bug" you are describing? Also, why is the status bar visible in your window?

Can you tell us HOW to get the status bar off the screen? I've played with some of the settings in the ini file but still can't get it. What do these settings do exactly?
[NUDGE]
TOP=-75
RIGHT=-5
LEFT=11
BOTTOM=100
[NUDGE_WINDOW]
WIDTH=0
HEIGHT=0

Is anybody else experincing an issue where the Zoom Out button won't stay docked to the left of the screen?
I'm working on a simple, clean skin, but can't seem to get past this issue
Here is a Screen Cap of what I'm seeing:
When first starting IGSkinner
After stretching the window a little wider:

I get the same thing... I think it may be the size of the iguidance window before it is embeded into iGSkinner, cause RR resizes IGSkinner, but IGSkinner needs to resize iGuidance, which is what is failing...
If I use a blank skin for GPS on RR, and then set the offset on RR to offset the app by -141 on the top, and some offsets on the sides, I can get a FULL SCREEN iGuidance, with no borders, only a status bar... since I cannot set that in RR... but it is still way taller that what I need, once I put the skin back on the RR GPS screen, that shows me that it is possible to make the Iguidance window tall enough...
I can actually get way more screen then iGSkinner can... so I dont think this is a limitation of windows, I think its a limitation of the resizing methods being used in iGSkinner...

I already reported this bug... I think this is because the positioning is relative to the window when it is first opened, and then with you resize, it stays in place... If you maximize on 800x480 or 800x600 do you see borders?

0l33l... can you change what size iGSkinner is when it first opens? that may be the problem... have it open to maximized (detect the rez, and open at that size)... cause i noticed it always starts small, and that seems to be the height I get stuck at, maybe if you start it bigger, you can go bigger.... the screenshot with the nighttime iguidance with my buttons was RR WITHOUT iGSkinner... just photoshopped the buttons on, to show what i want it to do...
Again.. this screen shot is NOT using iGSkinner, it is RR embeding iGuidance with offsets in the .skin file, and then I photoshopped the buttons on...
