I realized that the button layout i had before covers up the turn and route information at the top of the screen. D'oh.
But seeing as how I'm having trouble sleeping, I came up with a workaround for it. =)
Button code:
Code:

B1=P0
B2=P0
B3=P0
B4=P0
B5=P0
B6=P0
B7=P0
[B0]
X=0
Y=-506

So I downloaded and ran the package. Here's what the result looks like.
After reading through this thread, and noticing that several other people seem to have the same problems, is it possible that the default .ini file is off?
In order to get iGuidance to embed properly, I end up having to 'nudge' the main iG window to a negative value. This, of course, is something that both David and RPM mentioned as unnecessary. Unfortunately, that's the only way I can get SKINbedder to work.
Any tips?

Ol33l: So you posted tj's skin on the front. Awesome. I do love it. Does it include the car icon? How do you change that? I take it it's just overlaid and not a ResHacker? That doesn't really work since the arrow is in a different place depending on 2D vs. the 3 different 3D modes... does it?

It's a ResHack. Just gotta change the arrow with any BMP.

I'm using negative values (nudgebottom=-80) to nudge the screen as well.. (but i'm also using an older version of Skinbedder, so I don't know if that value would change in the latest release.)
I use SB2.0 because that provides all the functionality I need at this point. I don't like having to rely on any other apps [eg autoit].. that's why I use CF for a frontend, and not FP or RR)
"K.I.S.S." and no, I don't mean the band..

thx for the tip. As RPM has said though, you shouldn't need to use negative values to get the app embedded. Did I misread that?
You really don't need to keep autoit installed for skinbedder 2.5 to work. As someone else pointed out, you can compile the script into an exe and run that compiled script instead. When you're done, simply uninstall autoit (or in my case, just move the compiled script onto your carputer).
Very cool program

The next version will be able to accept AutoIt-like commands through the ini (which will use the AutoItX.dll that is included with SKINbedder to run them) as well as run any executible (including AutoIt compiled scripts). Nagative nudge settings should reveal part of the form (which will just be whatever FormColor= is set to) and wast space. In 2.0 it may not have been that way though, I forget. Also, you may need to use negative settings in 2.5 if your WindowBoarderSize and WindowTitleBarSize are not set correctly. In the next version I look that up from the registry, so this problem will be solved.
You guys should have a much better SKINbedder by next Sunday.

Its a bug. Try just starting it up a few times... it will probably work on the 4th try or something
