Will need to re-insyall iGuidance to continue testing
We don't modify iG at all.

I just fixed the #2 bug... transparent windows now allow clicking and do get updated by iGuidance.
I'm still working on the #1 bug... getting the buttons to re-paint whenever the map re-paints rather than just re-painting on a timer.
I haven't done any extra work on the iGuidance SKIN. Has anyone else?

Can you put a configuration switch in the ini, to HIDE THE CURSOR? That way, any embedded application would essentially have no cursor (good idea for touchscreens)

Unfortunatly, no. As is I tried to change the cursor to a cross-hair, but it doesn't work on the embeded program windows because the embeded window is on-top of my WindowContainer component that it is embedded to, so iG gets to define the cursor style, not me.
I suppose there might be a windows command to globally hide the cursor, but then it would be hidden for all other apps too. If that's what you want, then you can probably already do that through the front-end you are using.
Question: If you tell CF to hide the cursor, does it stay hidden when using SKINbedder through it?

Here's a better red button if you want it.

Nope.
Only solution I have found is to use an invisible/transparent cursor in WINDOWS' cursor/mouse control panel.

Hidden cursor...not sure if how roadrunner hides the cusor is of any help but i do know that inside the RR folder there are two cusors, the normal arrow and one called nul(empty space-?).
Maybe Guino switches between them or something...I don't know.
Just trying to help...

New avatar PD? LOL. If you figure out a way to do it please share and I will add it to Sb. Personally I need a cursor because my damn Lilliput TS is a POS and doesn't work about 20% of the time (if I hold my finger down in the middle, the cursor just zooms to the left usually, but lately it has been doing it to the right???).

Ive been entertaining the idea of making an app that watches where the cursor is and if it moves at all, and if it remains in one spot for more than say 4 seconds it moves it to the lower right corner of the screen. That should work for your situation.

Humm, how do apps like WMP hide the cursor when inactive, but when you move the mouse it appears where it was before (not in the lower right corner)? Most of the time when my TS is not working, I leave the cursor on next-track and just hit the glidepoint button to next-track without ever having to move the cursor or take my eyes off the road.

I'd like a system-level utility that will hide the cursor completely when I click 5 times in a row quickly. Click 5 times in a row again, and it will pop back up. Ideal for touchscreens
I use an invisible .cur cursor image. But sometimes I want the cursor to reappear if I am establishing a VNC session to do some configuration. Anyone got the skills for this?

Theres an api call called showcursor that only affects the application it was called from. So it would hide when the mouse is on my skinning buttons but not when on the iguidance windows.
