The OSK is a graphic. To make it non-transparent, you would have to make a new non-transparent OSK.png graphic file (very easily done in PhotoShop, just open it and then click Layer->Flatten Image).
Wait until it is done. I think when you guys see it, you will agree that it is not any harder to see/use being semi-transparent, and that if you made it non-transparent it wouldn't look as cool nor match the rest of the SKIN.

Status on SKinbedder? Still closely comparing iGmod and Skinbedder, so was wondering if there was an update, or new version to be released soon?

Last time I checked, RPM was stuck at those few bugs (refreshing of the buttons and another one).

I'm gonna need about a week after I get the OSK from merc to complete the skin. I have fix many bugs in the mean time, still don't really have the transparent buttons disappearing thing fixed yet though (the other main bug is fixed). Also, it has a lot of problems when embedded in CF that it does not have when run by itself, so I'm going to have to look in to those bugs.

RPM, thanks for the update. We all hope you get it all sorted out. I know it has been a lot of work so far.

akberpaf, that's what we're working on right now. As they said, it'll be done soon.
Okay, here they are in all their glory.
1. *Not for the faint of heart*
2. *The conservative approach*
3. *Classic*
Weigh in on them here.
P.S. Sorry for the image size, 700px x 681px, but the keyboards are the actual size they'll be on the screen. (In pixels, not inches or centimeters. )

btw, mt vote goes to the classic keyboard style. While transparency is a nice effect, I always find the background very distracting.

I vote for #3. Most readable in any situation. Great job!!!!
EDIT: #1 is a definite no-no... those diagonals are really distracting!!!

I really want a boarder around the text-entry part too. Maybe have the background be a semi-transparent square, but more transparent than the keys. Then, the background would fade in to non-transparent white in a 1cm or 1/4 inch boarder around the text-entry part to create a frame for it. This may be a good compromise for those that think transparent is too distracting (just make none of it completely transparent, but still keep a semi-transparent background with the keys even less semi-transparent).
