u can find my skin now. see link below. still not perfect, buttons still not transparent, and the button position isn't good, but the framework is ready. there are lots of improvements for the destinator handling. i go on working, maybe some of you are willing to participate.
cheers j.

FYI: There is a program called FreeDrive that is designed to control Destinator though the SDK and it is skinable.

I'm sure he knows Freedrive. He is using Destinator PN and not Destinator3 that FreeDrive uses.

yep up to now there is no solution to control destinator 6/pn since there is no sdk available, with the exception of centrafuse which is not freeware.
the known frontends like rr and cpos only build squares around the desti without direct interaction.
freedrive/mapmonkey will probably never be able to skin d6/pn like before d3.
thats why i created this proggie, its the only available real interface by now and i am willing to advance it. it could be used for any navi, when someone is willing to change the coordinates in skinbedder and autoit. not much work though.

@RPM_VR4 thanx for your lovely skinbedder, i still dont know all the functions but im going to be an expert by the time i hope :-) still having problems with the png graphics.

There is a Destinator 6 SDK available (See http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=86379). But we can't distribute it in freeware applications. You need to buy 500 licenses to use the full version SDK. Then you receive a valid key to use the SDK.

Ok cool. I don't know much about destinator. I just wanted to make sure you knew of FreeDrive. I'm glad you could make a solution using Sb. I have no clue on the PNG problem, but I can always get it to work with a copy/file->new/paste/save-over.

yes im getting used to this type of graphic meanwhile. still i am not glad with the alpha blending (u cant really use it) and the behaviour of the boarders to transperency. they are not smooth and sharp.

Semi-transparent pixels will not allow the image below them to re-draw. Therefore your graphics should not have alpha-blends, just solid pixels and fully-transparent pixels.

I always wanted to get it working without that limitation, but I have never had the time to figure it out (I worked on it for a long time initially. I discovered I must draw my PNGs on a WS_EX_LAYERED window, but I have had trouble getting that to work.)

i wish i could at least find a proper program which can cope correctly with these pngs. the programs i used simply cant be used for these settings. they dont create the pngs correctly. its sad.

I think that it may be a new bug. Try the exe from the Sb3.0-P1 release and tell me if that works for you.

i will try it out.
i can tell you that sb3p2 works with pictureIt!, but this program is a laugh it is designed to deal with fotos, not graphics. but it works. so far no bug in your release.

hi RPM_VR4, have an important question:
is there a possibility to adress media application (winamp, mwp) thru skinbedder and what is the command like? for example its "Send("{MEDIA_NEXT}")" in autoit. same question with volume up and down "Send("{VOLUME_UP}")".
thanx in advance
j.

The Type(key) command uses the standard VK_key set.

I don't see specific things for media keys, but it is possible that they are the same a window-key or alt-key combinations.

thanx for your answer.
yes there are special combinations, for example simply up arrow for volume up, but u have to focus first on the media player. and this i can't do with skinbedder unless the media player isn't embedded. is that right, you cant focus on non-embedded apps?
