yes i know supergong. i know all the commands.
but you can only focus on a window that u embedded before. focus("skinbedder...-"). you cannot use focus("winamp"). do u think i didnt try that before asking ? autoit does it, skinbedder doesnt. but an autoit exe always needs at least 180kb, even if u only pass a single key to a window, and i would prefere a skinbedder command in order to have smaller scripts.
if u know how to focus on winamp please tell me the solution, a code or a workaround, but please dont tell me to look for the basics. im not a baby.

didnt know that you can only focus a window controlled by skinbedder....thought skinbedder would focus by window-title....perhaps rpm could inplement this since its not much to code. Skinbedder is written in VB6 i think... dont know much about VB6 but in C++ its no problem!

I could, but you can do it with auto-it. What's the problem with the size? Don't we all have more than 10GB HDDs these days?

Also, SKINbedder will run the .au3 if you have it associated with auto-it. Then you don't need to compile to exe.

hi RPM_VR4,
the problem isn't the hdd space, but the upload restrictions in forums. every autoit script needs at least 180 kb, even if you code only one command. so when u want to upload your work you have to split it. my skin / frontend for destinator pn/6 by now has to be uploaded in 10 parts.
but you are right, the au3 files are a lot smaller, better to post. i haven't thought of this yet. seems a pretty good idea.
j.
by the way: what is the right command to type (ctrl + f) ? ok, i will search the forum, but maybe your answer is faster. thanx

Yeah, I just upload the au3's and make people install auto-it and compile them themselves. Just directly running the au3 works as well, but only if you have au3's associated with Auto-It executer and not editor.

Type(Ctrl-F)

You can also Type(entireword)
or Type(Shift-ENTIREWORD)
or Type(Shift-E),Type(ntire),Type(Shift-W),Type(ord).

Hopfully that makes sense
