if anyone wants to get a card that works with radiator without any extra configuration, pick up this one:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...118-101&depa=0
I just got it, all I had to do was go to the radiator website and download the lifefly plugin, and thats all. Radiator works beautifully with it.

well, i installed the card on my mom's new computer which is also running xp and the drivers have installed fine and radiator see's it and i can open up the card config from within radiator every time. but i cant get crap on it other than faint static which you have to turn up the speakers to full to even partially hear. and the bad part is that this card boasts fm radio capabilities.
oh well. maybe i just need a good anteanna. considering i was using a craptastic pair of earbuds as the antenna, that may be why

That Card looks similar to mine.
I have been following this thread cuz I got a couple cards off EBay along time ago, and wasn't too happy with them mainly because I couldn't find out any info on them.
So, I will be trying to get them to work properly again etc ...
anyway, this is the card mentioned above

well, I finally got around to adding my TV/FM card to my system.
I had decided in the past to say F' it and not even use it, since I had problems with them.
This thread changed my mind and re-kindled the need for TV and FM with a frontend app.
Well, after about 5 hours doing things ( lots of things ) , I still can't get my POS 878 card to work ..
So, I'm back on the " I could give a F' about the TV/FM card " boat ...
I hope other have more success than I did.

I know for sure that the TV part of that card will work with Fly2000... ask custommx3 for details.
Thanatos.

same here. my old pos bt878 card works great for tv usage despite no hardware encoding and no pci audio passthrough (have to utilize a patch cable from the tuner to the sound card). but no matter what ive tried i can never get it to tune into fm sations natively. i did get it to tune into a local oldies station by manually playing with the frequencies in dscaler, but thats all i got. none of the radio apps will work with it.
so ive pretty much just given up on it. ill probably just get myself a newer cheap wintv card with a built in fm tuner instead of fighting with this pos.

Just a side note on this issue - I was able to get radiator to work on my Hauppauge WinTV-FM PCI using (after trying many the others) the 8x8wdmfm.dll driver. Didn't really have any issues getting it to work once I had the right dll. However I was never able to get the remote control sensor to function with that driver.
I was going to get Axife FM Player (since it works fine with Hauppauge's drivers and is skinnable unlike Hauppauge's app) and run it as an exteral app in Frodo, but I've since donated the card to my daughter who just started college. She's using the newest hauppauge drivers with XP.
Unfortunately, its been too long since I installed it, so I can't help anyone get their to work.

Old thread I know but those two cards pictured above are completely different, although they do appear similar.
All the caps are different and so are the circuit tracks.
I bought a USB DVB-t tuner and it saps CPU so no go
Do PCI ones use less CPU? If a little more watts.
