Windows R XP and Windows Xp ????

is it different between Windows R XP and Windows Xp?ause i just have a touch screen monitor which have a software to run the touch screen but when i hook it up to my comuter !! it didn't work !! so any advise will be appreciated> thanks much !

I believe that the (R) in that is the registered trademark symbol (the circle R). Did you install the drivers for your touch screen? So out of curiosity, which Windows did you "buy", the "R" version or not... It is my experience that you should ask these questions before you buy things...

I think the R version is the reduced version.

The EU sued microsoft for delivering windows media player and some other programs with windows. So microsoft created a version without these.

Maybe you need some things which microsoft deleted in your version (i don't know if you can get these back through windows update but it is worth a try)
