Thanks.

I'm looking at the TV/FM code right now. So I need some example code or apps. I'm going to check out DirectShowNet tonight.

Also I'm trying to get the guys at SCT tuner to open up their API for interfacing with OBDII. I'd rather not have to buy another OBDII reader if I already have one.

Features:

The config will all be in an XML file. Already have to code to read this.
Things like:
button names and functions
launch windows (used to launch misc apps by selecting a file to use and the app to launch it - primarily will be used to launch emulator games)
radio stations/names
gauge configurations

Phidget encoder to control volume/select stuff in the interface. This was pretty EZ to set up.

WMP integration. Manage the media library in WMP and not have to mess with it in the front end. Use existing visualizations. Also less code to write.

Nice and professional looking. The font size is kind of small though.

Nothing yet. I'm trying to get the techs at SCT to open up the API to their X-Calibrator.

If I'm unable to do that I'll just have to go ODBPro/ELM. Might wait it out a bit.

TV and Radio Working

Got the TV and radio working this weekend. I had to drop the volume to zero before I switched to TV or radio and bring it back because there was a pop when the switch occured. Not sure if this is just my card or not. Sounds fine now.

The volume controls were adjusting the WMP volume, so I had to change them to adjust the main volume.

A nice clean skin & app.... you may want to make the fonts a little bigger and have some contrasting colours - eg Silver skins etc for those with diffrent dashes.

Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to stay true to what is in the 2005 Mustang. The fonts are a good size at 800x600. I've been using this on an 8" screen.

Send me a PM with your email and I'll send you an install.
