How to get millage using GPS?

hi! Im newbie here.... im using holux 216 and nRoute. So my question, how to extract the odometer in the nRoute??? can anybody help me?

there are plugins you can get that will do this, what front end you using? if you use road runner with the latest idrive (by enforcer) skin that has the plugin already done

mmm..im using road runner...but the problem is...im using 'external gps' in the gps setting under road runner...so can i still get mileage data???

what nav you using? i think it designed for destinator

this is my current gps setting...
-mapsource
-garmin map
-nroute
-gpsgate 2.5

i set nroute as external gps in rr....somebody..help me....

you should intercept the NEMA data the GPS is sending, especially the $GPRMC command.
Also you should use some kind of COM port splitter software.

com port splitter is it like "virtual Serial Port" or VSPD ?
