I have my freefone setup to use a phonebook on the pc (notepad file), when i dial out the number and picture comes up, but when i receive a call it just comes up 'unknown', any idea why this is?

Did you searched? If you did, you would know that there is a path to the phonepics and the number AND the picture has to have the the same number.
If the number STORED in your PHONE is 123 456 7890 THEN the picture has to be called
123 456 7890.

I didnt search as i didnt need too, i already knew this, if you look at the original question im not asking how to assosiate a pic with a number, im asking why when i dial out it works but when i receive a call it doesnt.

What phone are you using?
Do you have Caller ID?
Do you have the number calling stored in your Phone book?
Does the number show up on your cell phone?
Freefone compares the number calling with the number stored in your phone book, if you do not have it stored it will display UNKNOWN.

Ive spoken to CDR and it turns out its a problem with the version of FF that i have, ive downloaded the newer version and i will try that in the next few days.

I HAVE searched & searched for this "iphone version of freefone"!!! Maybe that will help my problem?

Pictures show correct most of the time, but sometimes WRONG picture shows for incoming call!

Still have 2 issues with freefone

1. Randomly shows caller (incoming) unknown... yet can call in again on same phone and name number, and picture are there.
OR it displays the WRONG person on incoming call (same number as above)

2. When call comes in the ALERT beeps from freefone will damage your ears!
Would like to turn that off, OR at least lower the volume on it!?
