DS-ATX Control GUI: Ideas, Features & Requests

Hi,

Thanks to some great work by Alex, there is now a way to control your DSATX in realtime from within RR (or any other skinable FE I'd imagine).
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/soft...interface.html

Can we have some suggestions, ideas and requests for features that you would like to see in this new GUI.

Currently the GUI is a (3 tab) skin within RR.
It shows:
Tab 1) The current state of the DS-ATX
Tab 2) All the variables (wiuth explanations of what they do) - and will allow modification of any variables that are write enabled.
Tab 3) Settings - Set the port, auto-connect timeout and show/hide debugging output.

In addition to this, when the DS-ATX goes into shutdown mode (and you are on the DS-ATX skin, a window will popup allowing you to chose between a 10second, 5minute or 30 minute shutdown timer.

Pretty neat huh?!?!

If Alex says its ok, then I'd also like to know if any skinners/artists would like to make some skins/graphic enhancements to this skin.

Ice

Heres 2 to start off....

Shutdown Pop Up Window (Idea):
Having the 'Shutdown Timer Selection' window popup ontop of any other window in RR.
That way, it doesnt matter where you are (in what screen), if you turn off ACC the window appears (fade-in, popup, dissolve, fold-out, etc) and you can select the option you want and then leave the car. Or press the 'Dismiss' button, if you want to leave it as is.

Shutdown Timer (idea):Along with the other timer options (perhaps which can be user defined), can we have an option that is 'Shutdown After CD Rip Completes'.
I have no idea how to check for this, but it would be neat. I often start a RIP and leave the car to go inside.

Cant believe noone is interested?!?!?!

Amp Turn-on/off (idea):
Toggle button to turn the Amps on/off (remote amp turn on/off).
This could also have an Auto-on/off feature, to switch the amps on when windows starts and off again before it shutsdown.

Centrafuse is a .NET based application. if Centrefuse has any API, I could modify my GUI in. RR might be an issue for me since it is not a .NET application. Though I could provide a COM interface, but I'd have to learn how RR does its screens.
