Hi,
Iīm currently working on my home mp3-player which has also a SEIKO 40x4 LCD (The LM-type). (basically the same as in the car.. now only to use with my home system...)
The computer this time is an old compaq deskpro 4000 with a pentium 166mmx and 3 old hdīs together ~ 9gb.
The LCD-connetion is ok, iīve checked this many times, and also LCDPRINT doesnīt give me an error and nicely displays all the test messages I send to the display, and itīs ok everytime.
But now, when I load winamp and using the
Markus Zehnder -plugin (latest version) line 1&2 get all messed up. 3&4 are pretty ok except for the first character on the 3rd line. The characters that has to be displayed are actually displayed but theyīre pretty much ībouncingī a bit to the left and the right..
Iīve played for about 3 hours and almost changed everything about some timing and stuff, but even when I refresh the display only 1 x per second the problem still occurs, only the bouncing is very slow (1x/sec

)
I donīt have a clue here because I can let LCDPRINT update the lcd like 10x/sec without a problem/glitch)
I even thought it might be a problem with the latest version so I switched back to an earlier version, but the problem is still there.
The comp is controlled via a hacked keyboard... (duh), but everything is ok here.
Oh yeah.. OS is win95 OSR 2 with BF FTP-server and WinVNC running in the Background.. but even switching them of didnīt solve the problem.
Anyone got a clue ?
Thanks in Advance !
Greetz,
