When im booting my pc in my car this is more of an annoyance then a problem, but the screen is displayed as if was still on my 17inch and not my 7 like half the screen is cut away, once it gets into windows its fine, but the boot screen + windows loading is messed up, so any errors and stuff i cant see..

try getting into the bios to find the monitor settings. you should be able to set resolution/type of display there?
