Question Using gps to get 0-60 times and other information

I did a search here and google heavily..lol and couldnt find any program that I could have open on my carputer that would read the gps and give me 0 to 60 times and perhaps other statistical information for that matter using the gps. Does anyone know of one?

all pc based gps systems only update once per second.. there's no point it calculating a 0-60 time based on that interval

look into your cars OBD-II protocols. Some cars can create the data needed to pull that information.

It's not for the CarPC, but I have a device called a G-Tech/Pro RR
... it's a box that measures the g-forces generated by accelleration, braking and turning to calculate this sort of information... 0-60, 1/4mile, 60-0, HP, torque, sideways g-forces etc.
