http://www.mediafire.com/?kkyjaxjeylr

Delete from Windows Add/Remove the previous version
The database needed to be changed in order to give the user the Interval Option,
you can either open the database and copy your information (Just your information,no fields etc)
or start new, or keep the old version.

I wanted to make system where I could plug in reminders, quick easy with no hassle, and have them "pop up" at the appropriate time.

Enter your own type of reminder - Maintenance, Meeting, Phone, Email etc all by OSK. (Forgot the click on name to drop down.. next beta)

Small memory footprint

Very quick and easy entry of data. Preset the shops, addresses, phone number and type of work done.

No Keyboard needed to grab in your car (there is an OSK) and a numberpad oh and a currency pad.

enter all your maintenance and with ONE button it is ready to remind you - I have set it to remind you at 6am but you can change it to what ever you want.

Grid Views - a snap shot of all your work done, including total.

Click on any row on the grid, it will take you to that record in both Maintenance and Travel Log

Travel Log - Cost/click, where you went, how many miles all with easy controls designed for small carputer screens.

Listing of Shops - Including Address, phone number and shop rating

Work Done - Make your own custom list of the most common work done

Listing of reminders - Have as many reminders as you like and keep control of them, you can even change the date and time if existing reminders

One click "done"

Change back to Pending a reminder that has occurred

"Hot Spots" Press on a name for combobox to drop down, or the Textbox and a keyboard etc will popup.

Reminder is a Popup window that will tell you what, where when and why.

*** Please note it loads minimized - I recommend you add to start up folder and use a button from you favorite front end to call it.
Designed for 800x600 or larger
Please use: Standard dpi - Properties/Settings/Advanced/Normal Size
I may allow for resize if there is some interest in it
*** DO NOT UNINSTALL by deleting the files, use the windows Add/Remove

Please let me know of any issues. This is Beta and I know there are some problems... its been tested on 2 machines, the developer and the car LOL.

Also added to download section of MP3Car.com ... just waiting for moderator approval.

-5000 milage option is below 7500 option
-Trying to Add a shop comes up with a run-time error 401. Can't Show non-modal form when modal form is displayed. Program then crashes

Thanks Sonic for the input. Will change the order of the 5k mileage increment.

Fixed Modal error, was in the drop down Edit option, thanks Sonic

Also no need to edit from the drop down, there is a dedicated button when it first loads called Shop & Mileage

Thanks Zero, no need to use those little buttons just click on the title beside the combobox for the drop down.

In other words for mileage Interval, just click on the words Milage Interval beside the drop down box.

I have fat fingers too, so I designed it for us fat fingerly challenged folk.

The only one I missed is the drop down reminder, Once I collect errrors will post that fix as well.

mileage intervals - 6k miles is normal for an oil change on a lot of vehicles - including our two vehicles on Synthetic.

I don't know how easy it would be, but add 6000 miles or add the ability to let users enter specific intervals.

Good point Red,

I originally had it for the user to customize that field , then thought the hard coded numbers would cover everything... I was wrong-o. Others have asked for different mileages as well.

Will add user defined mileage interval back in.

This is a great little proggy.

I've just recently changed the oil on our two vehicles and two bikes. I have a spread sheet set-up for the bikes, but not for the car...I tend to loose track of mileage when I don't have some of those DIY stickers for the oil change around.

Kudos!

Boru, do me a favor - change to US time/date format in your windows and see if you get the same error. I'll try yours when I get home as well to see if its a date/time/format issue.

Do you have office installed?
