RockCar C# Pluggable, Skinable, Globalized Front End (Alpha v0.02)

v0.02 UPDATE:

Translators Needed
The globalization ability has been added, but I need some help with language translations. PM me if you would like to help.

Skins Needed
If anyone would like to submit a skin PM me. All I need is a 800x600 bitmap. Buttons, etc do not need to have text, but should provide room for text to be laid over them. Other screen sizes are possible, but I'm not testing those yet.

64-bit Testers
I've recompiled WaveLibMixer which was causing 64bit users to crash. I've not been able to test this on 64bit yet.

Solution Files
I've attached the VS 2005 solution files. This does not include code for the core engine.

History:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/soft...end-alpha.html

Thanks to all who have helped so far.

Sweet.

I'll let you know if 64bit works when I get home.

I'm still not having any luck. I also tried to build the source code and got the same error.

Code:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)) at System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.CoCreateInstance(Guid& clsid, Object punkOuter, Int32 context, Guid& iid) at System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateWithoutLicense(Guid clsid) at System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateWithLicense(String license, Guid clsid) at System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateInstanceCore(Guid clsid) at System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateInstance() at System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.GetOcxCreate() at System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.TransitionUpTo(Int32 state) at System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateHandle() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlCollection.Add(Control value) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.ControlCollection.Add(Control value) at RockCarEngine.MediaEngine..ctor(RockCarBase baseForm, GlobalOptions configuration) at RockCarEngine.RockCarBase.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at RockCarHead.MainForm.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

This is why I've not switched to 64bit at home, little issues like this. Can you see if you can run the following code. This is the library I'm using for the mixer controls.

I might have to build a 64bit version if there is no fix, but I think most people will have XP 32bit in their cars.

Control Plugins

I'm working on the framework for external control input. I have a test plugin running and my next step is to write a control plugin for the Phidget encoder, then maybe a joystick or something else.
