Need help with winamp

okay hello guys as you can se i am a new user and new in this business. but i have decided to built in a computer in my car, so i have read almost all the forum now to get good advice and etc. i got my 4" lcd display from www.partsexpres.com yesterday so i look all day yesterday for a good software and i have to say that i love winamp and its visualizations i have to edmit that i do not use winamp at my home computer but i suits perfect in the car project. So my question and problem is that i need a full screen winamp so i downloaded arby´s skin and i love it BUT the text in the playlist is very small and i cant see it at all on my display, and after spending hours now to read the winamp forum i got to that conclusion that the only way to make the text bigger is every time you enter winamp hit the ctrl+ (winamp3) to make the text larger and i have looked at all the .xml files and can´t find something in there either... so does anyone have some advice i really ned that !!!

sorry about my spelling it is not the best i live in Denmark and does not write english everyday

I apologize, this is off topic, but how is the picture on the LCD, are you enjoying it? If it is a good lcd that will be a perfect solution for me! I cannot help you with your problem regrettably

maybe your solution would be to use a winamp font-end, like the above "media engine, Auto Play and Cobra" all these program look geed. I have not tetsed them I have only used Auto play and Like it very much almost every thing can be customized (Font, Font Size, Visulations, background pictures, Text Colour ECT) Looks Very sweet on my 5.6" PsOne LCD....Myabe give those a try see how you like them. Mind you that all of these use Winamp 2.XX but I find that Winamp 3.X loads very slow and crashes my PC all the time so its the best pick for me!

Also, does the screen have a standard input? It is unclear in the diagram if I am going to have to strip the wires or not. Thanks!

your problem is using a 4 inch screen i'd think. People used those like 3-4 years ago. text on arby's skin might not look as big and clean on a small screen. my 2 cents.

yes

yes i know that it is a small screen i didn't know that the screen was so old
The only problem is that every time i open winamp i have to push ctrl+ alot of times, because the rest of the text and icons is readable.

the reason i choose the 4" lcd display was that it fits perfectly in my car and it is still just a project so the money had something to say to !
