Software Help

I'm just about to start setting up my CarPC. I always intended using Roadrunner as I've read many good things about it & there seems to be alot of support for it. So with that in mind what operating system should I go with? I use XP on my home computer so should I go with tinyXP or XP Lite and then install WinAmp for RR?

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Never understood the need for stripped versions of XP.

I have used full XP Pro installs on my CarPC and it boots fast and is stable.

Leave it to full XP, there are lots of inherent problems with striped out XP if you don't know what your doing. Like 2k1 says it isn't necessary anyway.

I'm running win xp pro which is the full version and works absolutely great.

Most ppl use NLite to strip down xp so they can run it off a flash device. This is what i will be using, but full version of xp works perfect.

The most important thing is stability and reliability, like V8 scimitar said if you strip down xp not knowing what your doing you can run into problems.

Awesome. Thanks guys I'll stick with a full version then. I'm running a 250GB HDD so at least I'll have room for it. Cheers
