Possible: Running two front ends?

I was wondering if it is possible to run two front ends on two monitors on the same computer

Reason being is that I have a FX5200 with dual monitor capabilities that I would like to try out.

Thanks
Alan

You can run two instances of RoadRunner, and have them run at specific locations on the screen.

yes you can run two instances of RR, but i wouldnt mix RR with anothre program at the same time. Its likely they'd both be fighting for resources not to mention media control and the like. what exactly do you want to do with the second screen.

Well I would have one screen with my car information displayed on it and another with more than likely RR

But then if I closed the car vitals, I would want another RR on that screen too

could they be doing different things at once? Such as if my friend wants to watch a movie and I want to look for music or something like that?

Don't worry about resource, I have a AMD 3000+ and 2GB of ram

yes.

Although sound is your main issue, you would need to have two Sound cards and two seperate sets of speakers/amps if you want video and audio at the same time.

Although the passengers could have headphones for the sound. Still need two audio cards though.
