Major GPS software woes

Ok, So I have a licensed copy of Centrafuse 1.20. I set up all of my GPS com ports and I go into the nav section of centrafuse, and it tells me that I'm in berlin... odd. Oh, and i went into the GPS info that came with the BU-353 that I bought, and I have plenty of satellites. The only problem is that Centrafuse says that I have 0 satellites. I go to load a different map, and My only choices are Berlin and New York. Where are all of the other maps? And Why won't Centrafuse recognize my GPS?

I also have iGuidance 3.0 and Installed the actual program and restarted my computer and then tried to install the maps. Every time I do try, it gives me an error that says "Error: Mismatched map data" I click ok and then it looks as though it's going to install anyway, but then just quits a few seconds later. What is the deal here?

Make sure to set your GPS baud rate and communication protocol (NMEA probably)

Got ya, but i checked that already. But that would have nothing to do with my maps though, would it? That iGuidance problem is kicking my butt... LOL.

If any other program is using the GPS port, then CF cant. So if you have iGuidance running and it shows XX sats, then CF cant access the puck.

makes sense. So i uninstalled IG and closed everything. I start up CF and try the nav section, and I still get 0 sats. Do the maps load themselves when I get locked sats, or something?

Great, I was successful in getting IG up and going, and working most of the the time after i made Centrafuse use it as an app. But my one question remains... how in the world do I get the maps for CF? I would rather use CF nice integration for my GPS solution. I went out driving with my laptop and used CF GPS, and it said that I was locked to 8 sats but i was still going 0 mph in Berlin. That would be great if I were at a stop sign in berlin... but I was going 60 down a highway in Alabama LOL.
