OBDII Manufacturer Database (Updated with all Makers)

I created this database for my own personal use and i decided to share it to who ever needs something like this.

This is a OBDII Manufacturer Specific Codes Database

It is Flexible,Customizable,Simple OBDII Manufacturer Database.

It doesn't have generic OBDII Codes,All tho any of you can do, or i can add them if people ask so.

You can Add or Remove Manufacturers and Codes form the database really easy.

It has all the OBDII Codes for all the Manufacturers:

All the Database Manufacturers are in individual text files so it can be easily Accessed/Edited.

Updated Generic with P2xxx, P34xx - P39xx Powertrain codes.

Download and move new "Generic" file to Manufacturers folder replacing old one.

This would be cool to integrate with somehow with mezz's roadrunner obd plugin..

If mezz could get the codes into rr, then refernce your db for explanation of code and have it displayed on screen , I think that would be cool...

I don't use RR and i guess RR is made with Visual Basic,I use C++.

If some one does a Plug in for RR, i will glad to help with the database.

Well seeing as the 'database' is just text files it wouldn't be difficult for Mezz to add a lookup to his plugin.

How does this exactly work? Do I enter in a specific code that I'm getting and it will give me a definition? I was hoping that it would tell me what the mfg specific codes where and I could select on and get a definition... I probably don't understand the point of this program though. At any rate, good work so far.

NOTE: this runs perfect under Linux and WINE.

Well,You just select the maker of the vehicle you are trying to diagnose and put your code.

It will give you the meaning of that Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).

Note that for now you only put (P1) codes which are Manufacturers specific codes.

I did this because every time i went to Diagnose a car i had to have internet to search for the meaning of the code,and there is no ware you can find a complete database with all the car manufacturers.So i decided to make my own database of all the car manufacturers and share it with people who might have same problem as me.

I finished the Updates for BMW and Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep with all 100% codes up to date.

And a new Maker : Citroen, which i will upload tomorrow.
