i'm trying 1.2 but i dont see any instructions on how to make it work. I go to the trapster page, enter my trapster files and the distance options... then press ok and a message box comes in in french which i believe says its complete... but i dont see a file anywhere. Can you provide instructions?

NM i see my output files on the desktop.. but its only outputting csv files. I thought the program outputted in a gpsexec compatible format

Effectively ,I am sorry ,I had not create instructions .
I create it today .
So, Each tab is for specific file . For trapster use the trapster tab only .
When you run the first time csv2gpsexec.exe it unpack 5 .lng files.
French.lng , English, German,Spanish and defaut.lng .
So , go on Configuration menu and choose your language .

On tab trapster:
Open your .cvs file .
You can define after , Units, MinHdg,MaxHdg,Distance,"COMMAND" .
Then push on the OK button .
The result is one or two files _New.csv but on gpsexec.ini format:
Latitude,Longitude,MinHdg,MaxHdg,Distance,Units,"B LABLABLA"

You can two use the "Concatenation" option , then, all files are compiled in one file "Fusion_Radars.cvs" .

You have one specific tab for ExecTbl.ini exemples file .
The AlertGps/GpsPassion is on french and the Trapster exemple in english.

You can use the google button only if a Fusion_radars.csv file exist(See you file on Google Earth).
Good use ,I add a help file this day

ok i think i get it now.. i was unaware that the .csv created was what needs to be entered into gpsexec.ini. This is a really helpful utility . Any plans on just outputting the gpsexec.ini file instead of another csv? I know u can open the csv in notepad then copy/paste but it would be handy to just create the file on the fly too.

The input format is a ascii file Garmin .csv :
The format must do it this :
Longitude,Latitude,"XXXXXXXXXXX" .

Yes, the result file is a gpsexec.ini format only .

If you know another file format ascii ,I can add it .

Yes notepad or exel is easy to use but it is so fun to create .

Thank you for your opinion .

i created a file using 1.4 and the lat and lon values are reversed in the output file. what am i doing wrong?

nm i see the problem i believe. Trapster's .csv files are long, lat, etc, etc. The output file needs to reverse the long and lat
