What makes Super Tagging Different?

Unlike the basic tagging feature, Super Tagging automates the tagging process; finding, adding, and creating tags for you. This makes tagging faster and more accurate, especially if tagging groups of files. Tip

Super Tagging performs three, distinct functions:

Lookup Tags - Finds and adds tags based on the file name of your tracks.

Tag From Filename - Turns file names into tags.

Rename Files - Renames files based on the available tags

Sorry, I just cut n paste out of the musicmatch help prog.
anyhow, its pretty handy, especially when you have a pile of Mp3s you downloaded with goofy filenames. It will rename the file name in the format you like.......

Thanks for the Info. That works really well actually. I gave it a list of mp3's and it caught most of the tags fine, and the file renaming is also very nice!

One thing you might wanna try adding to this package is a feature that allows you to sync to ur computer for updating files.

Just my 2 cents

I have thought pretty long, and hard about this option, and the best way to implement it. So to figure this out I need some input from some of the people using it. There are many tricks that I could do, for writing the Sync function to handle all of the music if I enforce where the music/etc has to be. However if I want to make the program not care at all where, and how your music is stored, I cannot do some of these tricks. So I guess what I am wanting to know is, how do most people store there music, etc? Finally, did you try the program out? If so, what did you think, and do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Quincy

Personally I have all my mp3s in a directory then under each artists name, then album next. I also have just a folder for singles.

Yes, I did try it out. I would love to use it as my interface as soon as you get all the things that u wanna get done, done. So keep it commin so far so good.

Expect a beta release with mostly all of the music features implemented sometime on Sunday. I fixed a few bugs, and added an on screen keyboard, song, artist, and album search capabilities. Also a playlist editor(doesn't just play the whole album etc.)

Thanks,
Quincy
