Question BlueTooth Car Kits

Heres a question.... why can't we use our PC's as car kits ? Has some one done this, could it be intergrated with ME ?

I don't just mean controling the phone either but processing the mic and outout sound as well.

Heres the site that made me think. http://www.say-parrot.com/

There are no connections to the phone other than blue tooth.

This makes a lot of sense.
It could be controlled via a keypad in dash or touchscreen.
Are drivers available from the mobile companies??

My Samsung S100 has a data cable with it, and I can use it as a modem (can you say mobile internet ) but not sure about using it as a car kit...would be good to do if we can! Would be something cool to integrate into ME, and get it to pause the music when the phone rings, and resume it when call is finished

P.S. Terran, you need to remove the / after the .jsp in the 2nd link in your sig

I actually have one TDK BT usb adapter in my carputer and i have been using it for internet connection and reading emails in my car. The TDK BT dongle supports also BT audio stack and i have even tried that in my car so that i have a microphone attached onto sunvisor. There are two problems: the audio quality just sucks. One can hardly hear human voice between scratches, hiss and buzz. The second problem is (i think this is the major one) there cannot be more than one audio playback device at once (you have to select the BT adapter as audio card from control panel) so you cannot play any mp3´s or anything else without canging your pc:s audio properties. As far as I know the TDK is the only one which has audio stack support at the moment and the audio features software is beta (i think tdk would´nt dear to sell it commercially because of its quality). But in internet connections and reading sms:s from the GSM phone it is awesome. I also have a nice little freeware program which shows winamp playlist in SonyErcsoon t68i where one can select the song from the list (works as remote control). The same software has also mouse feature so the cursor moves when you move the little joystick in your phone and clicks when you click the joystick. It also has programmable key commands. Here´s the address:

The program is named PC Control.

Hope this helped ,

Love my T610, I'm probably going to drop the $200 to get that bluetooth car kit if someone can't find a better solution.
