keyboard on screen

in windows xp you have a keyboard on screen that you can use with your mouse (of finger if you have touchscreen) , now is there freeware software for win 98 ???

Yeah, really. I wanted to know that too. If I had GPS in an in-car pc, i'd sure as hell wouldn't like to care a bulky *** keyboard around. Thanks for bringing it up!

Hmmm, there must be more to this than meets the eye. (pun intended )

When I try to run this on my Win98SE machine, it successfully takes the focus away from my real keyboard, but never shows one on-screen. At that point, I have to hit thr "reset" button on the computer itself to get out. I can't even use CTRL+ALT+DEL, because, obviously, the keyboard is turned off.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Dex

I don't either, but I'ld still like to know how you all got the WinME osk to work in Win98.

I didn't, I don't have either installed here atm, but almost everything I've pulled out of winme DID work in 98, I assumed this would be the same.

that being said, I pulled that out of winme, and it worked in XP
