DAB radio? PSION wavefinder

Hey

I picked up some PSION wavefinders for £40 each, can they be used as a DAB radion for a carputer, anyone tried it yet?

For that money, I'm willing to take it to bits.

Hello again

I have asked this same question in the past. I've done a bit of research into it and it doesn't look too promising in a car.

People seem to have reception problems when its just sitting at home nevermind moving about in a car.

Still! hook it up and let us know what happens!!!

Also, I think the WaveFinder needs an external power supply, which would be a pain integrate into the car, since it's 10v.

Thanks for the info, yes reception is an issue, also power, I can make a 10V reg from the 12V line no problems.

I may give it a whirl, I have DABBAR which can be remote controlled.

If you pull it off, could you please post how it's done, since I'm also tempted to get a WaveFinder if they can be used in the car?
