Thumbs up Ideas for simple interface

The last year or so Bang and Olufsen has offered a free software mp3 player for pc. I dont know if anyone tried it, but it is worth a try. For all the programmers it might even provide ideas for simplicity on their players.

I have a few b&o products around the house, but maybe next step is to integrate it in the car
If you know (and like) the remotes for b&o this will be just the thing
Even without a frontend this could be running and you could still use navigation fullscreen.
Just thought i would point it out if anyone didn't know.

Oh yeah, the link

evn though this thread is old I think it deserves a lookup, I am using beoplayer and have done for a long period on my pc. I think the simple and stylish interface is very nice and I would be VERY interested if someone made a skin look a bit like that. Black, red, white and grey, all that needs to be there. When You then start with adding all those videos and songs and pictures there will be enough bells and whistles to fill out what some might consider as boring. I am maybe on my way to making this skin for myself but I am not skilled enough yet. Anyway, maybe the www.beoplayer.com or beoport player from bang olufsens homepage will make some people to understand what I mean
Personally I am very careful when I look at skins to use for my car. My goal is to find a skin that looks as if it came from the manufacturer but with alot more functions. Seems that many skin makers want their skin in neon colours and flashing bubbles everywhere? I like sharp thin lines in my skin, seems its hard to find..

Argue with me if You want, I asked for it
