Radio Xtreme experiences

Hello,

I read a lot of posts about the poor reception of the D-link FM usb receiver which prompted me to try and find something else. After seeing Frodo's post about the radioXtreme unit I decided to give it a try.

The unit is now installed in my car connected to the cars diversity antenna and the reception is phenomenal. I am using the unit through Frodoplayer and it is great. If anything the sensitivity is too high causing it to pick week far away stations.

The infrared remote that came with the unit is also proving to be useful for controlling the Frodoplayer.

My .02 cents.

I made a connector from the car antenna (Nissan plug) to the radio's mono mini-din connector. Very easy.

Is that the only place to get it? I would like to read more about.

Does radioextreme only work with frodoplayer? Will it work with
media car?

Is radioextreme better than the d-link?

Thanks

It will work using Confused's Radio Suppliment for MediaCar for sure.

And yes, from everything I've heard, yes it's better than the dlink.

I love mine, it works great.

Frodo
