If you're still after the window details get any IGuidance user to run this while the dialog is open, it should enumerate all running windows to a text box that they can then send you.

Chris.

Ran it. Here is what it returns when the Warning Screen was visible:
Code:
-Shell_TrayWnd Enumerate Windows-TForm1 enumwin-TApplication -#32770 MP3Car.com Forums - Any Developers or Tech Savvy Users with Iguidance please read :) - Microsoft Internet Explorer-IEFrame -BaseBar Program Manager-Progman

Here is the 'Make sure the GPS receiver is properly connected' screen.
Code:
Users with Iguidance please read :) - Microsoft Internet Explorer-IEFrame -BaseBar Program Manager-Progman -Shell_TrayWnd Enumerate Windows-TForm1 enumwin-TApplication Warning-#32770 MP3Car.com Forums - Any Developers or Tech Savvy Users with Iguidance please read :) - Microsoft Internet Explorer-IEFrame -BaseBar Program Manager-Progman

And with iGuidance running.
Code:
MP3Car.com Forums - Any Developers or Tech Savvy Users with Iguidance please read :) - Microsoft Internet Explorer-IEFrame Program Manager-Progman -Shell_TrayWnd Enumerate Windows-TForm1 enumwin-TApplication iGuidance-IntellinavWCls -BaseBar MP3Car.com Forums - Any Developers or Tech Savvy Users with Iguidance please read :) - Microsoft Internet Explorer-IEFrame Program Manager-Progman

Don't know what any of this means but hopefully you do.

Derek

Were any of those with the warning screen displayed? That is what he needs. Each line is the window title and handle separated with a "-".

Edited previous post. In the case of the Warning message, there is no title for the window.

Frodo: The warning window and the GPS window classes are completely the same. For my app, I don't even bother with the caption, I just force people to find out the class name.... this way it won't focus on some random window, and it works for notepad if the title isn't 'Untitled - Notepad'

The class name is a standard windows dialog

You may need to find the IGuidance window then enumerate its child windows to find the dialog.
