CarBox now has Contrast Skin!

It's been a while since I've done anything with CarBox, since I've gotten a new job, and a new car without the 'puter in.

However I've finally got round to getting Contrast Skin converted for CarBox. Hopefully someone will enjoy it.

Thanks go to Terran Brown for creating the skin initially for Media Engine, and letting me have the source files to complete the conversion for CarBox.

It's downloadable from the CarBox link below.

Looks nice. Is it made for 640X480? Looks kind of small.

Keep up the good work..

It's made for 800x480 (ie widescreen), however you can scale it to any screen resolution you like. It will look slightly squashed in 4:3 aspect ratio though as it's designed for widescreen.

Yep TVR Griffith 5.0L, as of about 3 weeks ago. Fooking fantastic, if a little thirsty! (and no Russian references please, I've heard them all before, and the Griffith was out of production pre TVRski )

Trouble is, with TVR's eating batteries the way they do, I don't think I'll be installing the Carputer in it for a while, until I've sorted out an auxiliary battery, and a way to have a screen without hacksawing the leather dashboard!

I think TVR will become real popular in Russia soon. Almost as Chelsea. I already want one...
