Connecting two Bluetooth devices at once. Computer to phone and BT headset to phone.

I cant seam to connect my computer(Bluetooth) and my headset(Bluetooth) at the same time?? I really was hoping that I could be able to keep my phone tucked away at all times and just use PhoneControl and the headset to do all the chatting. In order to do this I would need to have the PC and the Headset hooked up at the same time which my computer and phone don’t seam to agree with at the moment. Any suggestions on how I could get this working?

Thanks guys,

Sean Behm

Maybe you can try 2 BT Dongles? I don't know if that will work, but it's worth the try... You can't connect both, phone and headset, to one dongle because when you have connected one of them the audio gateway is already in use.

Have you tried Computer --> Phone, and Computer --> Headset?

Most phones only allow one BT connection at once. Not sure about BT dongles for PCs though

BT dongles allow up to 7 devices I think and most (or all) phones only one!!!

I have been trying to figure this out for the longest time. It's actually the only reason that I purchased the bluetooth headset and I can't seem to get it to work.

My phone K800I does have the possibility to make two BT connections.
So , now I use Phonebook to choose the number I want to dial and when connection is made, my BT carkit in the car takes it over

It works great.

So make sure your phone can make more than one BT connection (i know that my former phone , Ericsson T610 , was not able to do this)
