I will give it a shot, I see VIA has a newer bios .bin I1000107.BIN should I download that and replace the I100107.BIN or does the bin have to be modified to use the g35 logo? Thanks again.

i've already modified it for you.

it should be the newest bios rev. I just downloaded it two days ago. i'm not sure what the diff. is between 104 and 107...but i'm sure you'll be fine with 104. if you want to download 107....the .tif files are included in that .zip package so you could update your bios file with it.

yea i realized that after thanks for the heads up.

one thing though, i tried to put in the new logo.bmp but the logi.bmp keeps coming out as 300kb. Whats weird is before my .tif file was like 326kb and after it was converted to .bmp it was 300kb. I was able to reduce it to 36kb or so and in .tif form but after i convert it to .bmp it is still 300kb

doesnt seem right... is there a way to compress the file size?

i'm not sure if there's padding involved.but 300kb is the right file size, compared to bmp's i've compiled before

so yours has always been 300kb after it was converted into .bmp?

when i try to embed it into the bios there isnt enough space. i get to like 20 % and its over already....
