State of Linux CarPC software

I've noticed that there are several Windows applications out there that look to be quite mature in terms of features and stability. Just about the only thing on the Linux front is the DashPC software which, well...isn't. What other packages are out there? Am I going to have to break down and code my own frontend? Lazy geeks want to know!

Aha! That's perfect! To save others searching for "headunit" I give you http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=28885

And the SourceForge URL: http://sourceforge.net/projects/headunit

Wonder if it needs its own heading under the FrontEnds thread category?
