Post Street Atlas RWE GPS app hack.

I am wondering if anyone has tried to hack this app and get rid of the nagging splash screen....
Maybe a registry setting somewhere???

I have found and changed registry settings to increase the map size, change the order in which the tabs show and get the lower tab frame to the right size to fit in 640X480 screen. Look in my car mp3 page @ www.geocities.com/danielsoh74. I have exported my registry settings for those who want to use it... in downloads section.

But does anyone know how to get rid of that splash screen when you start the program??? any help is appreciated.

it can be done, but u will need a programm running monitoring it. Anyway, it involves some API calls and thread to do it.
Y even use RWE, it is slow loading up, eats up memory and personaly, it is crap. Coordinates are way off. Just use MS Streets and trip

Personally I have a celeron 667 and 64MB RAM It boots up in about 15 seconds. And if you mess around with the registry you can make the map fit the whole screen. Again i am sure you know that....look at the pictures in my site, I think it looks a whole lot better than street and trips. Always north direction feature, it shows a trace and arrow where your car is and updates every second... not like every 15s, shows speed and compass.... overall the features in RWE beat Street and Trips hands down.

I was kind of curious about the RWE hacks, but the website is missing and/or broken.

Eh?
