Post A Unique Problem

I have asked this before, in the lcd forum. AND I promise this is my last time asking this question then I will shut up. I have a 10.4 (8 x 6) digital lcd that needs a controller card (flat panel has one for it, but looking for some where cheaper, thats not the question thought.

I need software, hardware, viri, or rewiring mechanism to get it so that it is veiwed as 6*8 instead of 8*6, the reason is that it is going in a custom box between the feet of passengers on an old 71 bug. And I desperatley dont want to modify the dash.

So does anyone know how to flip the screen on its side as well as the video output???

I have not been able to find anything on it, tried looking the way of the old vectra games, no luck, a freind said there use to be an old virus that did that ... hell that would be even better, um no luck any help or sample code or ANYTHING would be lovely.

Thanks, I shut up now .... by the way you americans go give your mom a hug!!!

I can't help you with the rotating of your display, but I did find another digital controller manufacturer. Try Digital View. I don't know what thier prices are like though.

We Should all rejoice now ... I found it ... 3 weeks of searching and I found two ways today ....

<celebration>

Sub-seven virus ... hey dont laugh but it does have a prank utility to turn someones screen on it side ... and hell thats what I need ... nasty though ... and the idea of using sub-7 for good disturbs me....

Portrait.com's pivot software, its 50 bucks ... ty gizmomkr , and it works like a champ even though its expensive as hell .. and you know what free trial ...(working on crack ... oops did not say that)

</celebration>

Thanks for putting up with me bugging ya .... know to find a cheap chips controller and you know what its getting there ....

one problem down
