Question software to control pc from ipaq

does anyone know of software to control my mp3 player from a compaq ipaq3630/aero ??? it runs win ce and plays mp3's nicely but takes forever to upload files to it ;-((
if i could use it as a front end it would look ok..

VNC seems to only work over tcp/ip , the ipaq only has a usb connection or serial...

i've used winvnc over paralell/direct cable connection
