Post Nice info for FV24 owners.

THis link is kinda hard to find on shuttleonline.com website but it will tell you what drivers to download for what BIOS you have installed.
I use the STV2, once i went with a higher bios the border around my LCD on the TV-OUT got worse! ( bigger) so that's why i use the STV2. If anyone tried the newest BIOS and drivers and dont see border around the LCD I would like to know..

I'm using the newest bios (stvh I think) and a mix of drivers on winXP and still get that stupid black box. Nothing seems to work

if your borders seem big try going for an older BIOS. That's what I found out. Upgrading BIOS is not always a good thing....

Hm..

Does the video-out on the FV24 work from boot, or does it only work in (for example) windows?

I want something that displays the video-ouput right from boot. This way I don't have to use idiotic drivers.

It goes TV-out right on boot. Just as long as it's set in the BIOS to use TV-OUT. As long as it detects that it's connected to a TV or LCD with at least some internal resistance. Actually you can get outputs on both the VGA and the TV out at same time.

yeah you can have output on both but it would show the same thing. Actually you can get output on the Svideo, RCA composite and VGA so that makes 3 =)
u can easily find a svideo to rca cable at ratshack and hook it up to another ntsc lcd.
