winamp doesnt stay loaded

I have winamp2.24 when I start up Windows98. I have the key pad plug-in and that works fine.
I load the my play list in winamp and whenever I reset the machine, the play list disappears.

Any suggestions?
TIA

In your StartUp folder, right-click on the WinAMP shortcut, and click properties. Change the "Target" to:

c:\winamp\winamp.exe playlist.m3u

Change c:\winamp\ to wherever winamp.exe is, and playlist.m3u to whatever the name (and path) of your playlist file is. Now when Win98 starts, it will start WinAMP with the playlist file you specified preloaded. I hope this helps.

Simply put the playlist itself into the start menu of win9*. On boot up, win9* will call up winamp to play the playlist, foolproof method, works every time!

Mmm.. the man is right -- much better solution. I just finished installing WinAMP on my girlfriend's new computer. She'll be bootlegging in no time.
