Question Enabling/Disabling Setup via boot disk?

Hey,

I was wondering if it was possible to use a boot disk to enable, or disable cirtain features on my system,

For example, when normal (no boot disk inserted), the system does not detect the network card (so it boots quicker) loads winamp, and uICE, ready to play MP3's.

I would like, when a boot disk is inserted, for the computer not to load any startup software, except windows and to detct the network card, .

Obvioulys the first scenario os for standard 'quick startup' mp3 playing, and the second is for transferring files to and from the player via network.

So i suppose i would like to know wheter or not it is possible to switch between these two functions using a boot disk, or must i do it another way, like switching master hdd, etc

Thanks

John
