Red face Win98 problem

I have a home system that I am using strictly for playing MP3. To get the playlist to autoload I put the playlist in the startup folder. However I see a problem with this configuration. If the power cuts out in the middle of the night I am awaken by a mp3 player. Is there a way I can get winamp to load the playlist but to not automatically start playing the first song???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

JustAGuy

Hey,
Well reading your post i found something which my program is doing that you want and the way your program is what i want. Confusing a bit the way that was said. The way i have it is i have thw winamp.exe shortcut in the start up and it loads all the songs but doesn't start playing. I don't know if thats the best way of doing it but thats what i did. What i want is for it to autostart playing when it loads. So all you did was put a playlist file in startup?

Well how about that. We actually solved each others problems. Yeah, if you want it to autoplay put the playlist file in the startup menu. If winamp is the associated program for m3u on your system (which it should be) it will autoplay the first song.

Bulletin Boards Work!

:-)
