Hey I was wondering if there were any GPS software that was similar to the system that is in the Mercedes dash? What I mean is spoken directions and warnings, and a BIG arrow that shows what direction you should expect to turn and a thermometer to indicate how far before you must follow the next step, etc etc. I've seen them for B&W GPS hardware from car-audio shops, but when I look at the software on the shelves, I only see maps that have a small triangle that represents you on a big map... and I don't want to be looking at a map and have to mentally re-orientate myself to map direction in order to get what the computer is saying, and guess how far before I actually have to turn... I want a big honkin' ARROW and a thermometer to say when it is coming up... keep is simple, yes?
