My goal, of course, is to eventually have AWACS functionality in my car.
Awesome, and now that everyone has EVDO (haha) we can have real time collaboration on where stuff is.... So say my V1 detects a laser, it's location is sent to remote server thing, which syncs to my friends gps/v1 program 10 miles behind me. So he sees/hears/whatever a "laser warning: 800ft" or something like that when he comes to it. It could aslo have kind of a heartbeat, older detections would be red/greyed out while new/updated ones would glow green?
Even if it isn't realtime it would be cool to have a map of all "hotspots" or "false-detections" linked into GPS with a collaborative database of all V1 users!
Sorry if this has already been done thought of, I am fairly new :0
